Russian stocks may rise backed by foreign background, oil growth
MOSCOW, Sep 4 (PRIME) -- Russian stocks may grow at the opening on Wednesday amid a moderately positive foreign background and rising oil prices, analysts said.
“In the morning, Russian stock indices and the ruble will receive support from improving global sentiment, and therefore we can expect upward momentum at the beginning of the session,” Veles Capital analysts said.
“Players for a rise will try to strengthen their positions, but in general it is worth remembering that oil quotations and the U.S. indices remain under short-term pressure, and this may limit optimism on Russian floors,” they said.
Oil prices are gaining around 0.5% after a fall of around 2% late on Tuesday.
The S&P500 index futures are gaining around 0.6% and positive dynamics prevail on Asian stock floors.
